This Vertical Control Network consists of fifteen (15) existing monuments, previously constructed by BG or others, and four (5) existing First Order Class II monuments, previously maintained by National Geodetic Survey (NGS). The BGVCN meets the National Geodetic Survey s current Elevation Accuracy Standards for a Second Order Class II Vertical Control Network.
